Unsure if you’re a prostitute?

…Let one of our security guards help you find out! – I am not sure this is real; a co-worker sent it to me.

_Update:_ Okay, so even if this is not in Japan, it’s still weird and amusing.

  1. Richard says:

Can’t comment whether it’s real or not but the non-English writing is clearly Chinese.

  2. Nils says:

I guess you are right. I just started to learn Japanese myself – a long time after I posted this initially. :-)

  3. A Chinese notice mistaken for Japanese in a Mexican restaurant – now THAT’S melting pot for you. I wonder what nationality the prostitutes might be….

  4. websurfer says:

This is a Chinese advertisement, you bloody stupid bastard !
Why don’t you rectify the bloody thing.

  5. Nils says:

it is not an “advertisement”, and name calling just disqualifies you. The language of the sign doesn’t say anything about the location. And anyway it’s still funny. Grow a sense of humor, Mr. Websurfer.

  6. naomi says:

Even if the language doesn’t indicate something about the location … how is this Japan-related then? Anyway, I’m quite sure this is the Zapata’s in Shanghai.

This is a actually from a restaurant in Shanghai, China. They have Salsa night every Tuesday.
