Holga K202 Cat Camera

Do you have a cat? Do you maybe dress it up to look like Hello Kitty? And do you wish to make photos of your little furry friend?

Then what you might need is this non-digital camera. The Holga K202 will actually “meow” as you take a photo to draw the attention of your feline (or whatever else you are focussing on).

Cat Camera

As if this wasn’t enough, the K202 has a really weird cat design printed on it, and comes in a can.

If you really want one of these contraptions (and I’d really like to know why you would) you can find them on eBay.

Do you have ideas for creative uses for this meowing camera? Scare a toddler with it? Fool your kid sister? Take photos of your pet mice? Leave a comment!

these are not made in japan at all, theyre made in china and always have been.
holga cameras do very strange things with light and colour (strange=good)

i also think its very patronising calling japanese or asian stuff “wacky” or “weird”. so stop, it makes you look very foolish indeed.

From the viewpoint of a European, a lot of the things the Japanese and Chinese do is definitely weird and wacky. I can only assume you’re a Japanese or Chinese (or Korean or something, they’re weird too), then of course you wouldn’t understand why we think these people can be very weird.

And don’t equate “weird” with “bad”. Doing so only makes you look very foolish indeed.
