Hello and welcome to my ongoing documentation of strange and unusual, crazy, funny, and sometimes just simply interesting products, services and events from Japan. My name is Nils, and I’ll be your host.
I don’t live in Japan, and unfortunately I don’t speak Japanese (yet) which is a little bit of a hindrance. I do have a Japanese friend (who shall remain anonymous for now) who’s helping me with translations and so on. I am aiming to post one article each day, but sometimes shorter articles will make it in as a “bonus”.

I am not affiliated with any of the companies whose products I display on this website, but I am a sell-out. If you would like to advertise on this blog, let me know. Just be aware that my ethics do not allow me to praise any product simply because I am paid for it. There will be no “paid articles” on this weblog (or any of my other blogs), ever.

If you know of any funny Japanese product, service, cultural item, event, or anything else that you think would be appropriate for this weblog, please let me know. I will provide credits (names named, links to websites) where appropriate, unless you wish anonymity. I don’t guarantee to publish every submission.

All comments and trackbacks posted to this weblog must be approved by a moderator. I try to moderate as quickly as I can, but this weblog is just a hobby so I can’t garuantee it. I will allow any comment that is reasonable – Please try to remain civil, and refrain from blatant advertisement.

Please do not link directly to images hosted on our servers – don’t be a bandwidth thief. Please copy the images to your own server, and link to my article and/or photo page instead. Thank you!
