Feline Disrespect From Behind
I think this is what passes for comedy in Japan.
Strange and Weird (and Cool) Things from Japan
I thought this was actually cute:
It’s not really wacky though - so consider it a bonus. ;)

I really don’t know how to describe this one. “Complete nonsense” is about the only thing that comes to mind.
Pretz is at it again…
Not quite as hypnotic as this, but… still. I think my co-worker G. will enjoy this one.
I guess this spot is trying to sell salty snacks:
However, I can only describe this as surreal. This is definitely going to make a whole lot more sense if you can understand Japanese.
Another fun commercial, this time for bath salts. I wonder: Is this just so insane because we don’t understand what they’re saying, or is it actually more insane if you can understand the text?
Pingmag has a great posting about characters used as the logos of or in the advertisement for Japanese snacks. Want an example? Happy to oblige:
“Two lip-sticked seal-panda babes swimming through the seas of dried noodles while having a drink…”
Make sure to read the posting at Pingmag for more Snack Character madness.
