Okay, so this doesn’t become completely Hello Kitty focused, here are some collected Hello Kitty insanities. My Japanese friend told me that Hello Kitty isn’t actually that popular in Japan. Is she right, or is she just trying to protect her countrymen’s reputation?

Noodles:

If the cat camera isn’t hardcore enough for you.. there is a 5 Mpixel Hello Kitty digicam:

It has 4x digital zoom, the lens is hidden in the hair tie; the camera has a 2″ LCD screen on the rear. Hello Kitty Digicam uses SD Cards and has 32 MB internal memory.

Holga K202 Cat Camera

Do you have a cat? Do you maybe dress it up to look like Hello Kitty? And do you wish to make photos of your little furry friend?

Then what you might need is this non-digital camera. The Holga K202 will actually “meow” as you take a photo to draw the attention of your feline (or whatever else you are focussing on).

As if this wasn’t enough, the K202 has a really weird cat design printed on it, and comes in a can.

If you really want one of these contraptions (and I’d really like to know why you would) you can find them on eBay.

Ear Cleaner Camera

Cleaning one’s ears is really not as efficient as it could be. I mean – think about it. You take a cotton swab and just move it around your ear blindly, hoping to get all the dirt out. Enter the Japanese:

They invented a device that lets you clean your own ears while watching what you are doing. The product page seems to be no longer available, but TechTickerBlog reports that the price was 10500 Yen (64.32 Euro).
