In Japan, it seems possible to buy pretty much anything from a vending machine, even underpants. Food isn’t really an unusual item to be dispensed in vending machines. However, while you can only buy drinks and maybe snack bars from a machine in Europe and America, the Japanese have a lot more.

Including, it seems, bread in a can:
